What excuse can he give at the final accounting for that wasted time, that neglected opportunity? When he sits idly around the home or spends hours and frequently a whole day in merely social visiting, sometimes bordering dangerously on gossiping, he has broken his vow to God, wasted that which is more valuable than property and which it is difficult to ever redeem.
